Ha ha !

2005-06-10 23:22 And so finally, after 7 years of absence, I am going snowboarding in South Africa. Gonna spend around 6 weeks at Tiffindell Ski Resort (www.snow.co.za). It's not a very big resort - actually it's tiny - but they have snow in summer (i.e. Northern hemisphere summer)

2005-06-20 16:42 Looks like I have my plane ticket. So the trip is on. Just need to wax all the equipment and make sure I pack it well, so the silly airplane company doesn't break my stuff again. Only 2 weeks left till departure, need to get going with all the work.

2005-06-22 14:14 Yesterday bought a pair of skis - Salomon Crossmax 10, 160cm. They will be great for Tiffindell.

2005-07-03 13:48 Patryk and Agata wedding is over. What a party. This news is slightly unrelated.... but it just means that I have only 48 hours left to departure. So it's all downhill from here.

2005-09-14 10:18 Back in Poland. The trip was a huge success. I really enjoyed my Tiffindell experience. A lot of things happened during those 2 months and I think that I'll eventually make an effort to write some of that stuff down here. But at this moment I lack the energy. I will put in some spoilers though. The main reason for the trip was to take part in SA Championships and that proved to be highly successful - not only I managed to win the snowboarding giant slalom, but also did pretty well on skis, coming 3rd in both slalom and giant slalom. Apart from that my stay at the resort was fantastic. The ski school team was great this year.
